Welcome to Dezify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dezify music streaming platform, including the website at dezify.app and its companion mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Dezify is a music streaming platform that offers a catalogue of Indian music across genres including Bollywood, Classical, Devotional, Punjabi, Ghazal, Sufi, Indie, Folk, Tamil, Telugu, and more. The Service allows users to browse, stream, and create playlists, follow artists, listen to DJ mixes and podcasts, and discover new music. Some features are available to unregistered guests, while account-based features such as personal playlists and artist following require a registered account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to copy, download, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service unless explicitly permitted.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying data of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its servers, security, or advertising systems.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
  • Circumvent any content protection or playback restrictions built into the Service.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All music, audio, artwork, podcast content, and other media available on Dezify are owned by their respective creators and rights holders. Dezify provides a streaming platform and does not claim ownership of the musical content it hosts. Users may stream content for personal, non-commercial use only. User-generated content, such as playlist names and descriptions, remains the property of the user, but you grant Dezify a licence to display and use it within the Service.

6. Artist Submissions

Artists interested in joining Dezify may submit a registration request through the in-app form. Approval is at our discretion. Approved artists grant Dezify a non-exclusive licence to stream their submitted content on the platform. Artists retain all ownership rights to their work.

7. Advertisements

Dezify may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Your interaction with advertisements is solely between you and the advertiser.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be available at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dezify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Library page. We may terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
